End of busy season!

The latter half of April has been a pleasant surprise, unexpected visitors, thanks to the very late Easter holiday, and despite the intense heat that discourage many. We have therefore been busy and my grand plans, anti-poaching operation are often made into punch in the kitchen where I lent a hand and a dripping Mai submerged, but assured brilliantly meals for all those hungry tourists in conditions that our customers do not even imagine!
Between appros acrobatic, to bring in Garoua (280km) where you can not find hardly any vegetables or chickens during hot weather, Ngaoundere (270 km), where the brother of Mai squat cars to customers deliver a waltz with ice boxes, cartons of ice blocks ..., even from Yaounde where do things that each of you on the corner of the street between our tiny gas fridges and constant shortages of same gas , an ice machine at the foot of which we deposit a candle every day, a generator dyspeptic, Mai struggles like hell. If the outside temperature in the shade reached 42 ° C in the shade, although it must reach 50 ° C and poor in the tiny kitchen, and I am myself admiring the energy of my beloved cook, who was completely unprepared for that!
On April 27 we receive the Embassy of the United States, and finally, the equipping that I worked for three years! This is going really well, a modest and friendly delegation, Ambassador in mind, we leave it with ease if the material expected.
Bicycles and motorcycles, radios, GPS, handcuffs, nets, canvas, shoes, flashlights, binoculars, satellite phones, computer, printer, etc. ... lots of material that gives a boost to everyone. I never fail to remind everyone that the hardware is nothing without the will of men, but I know that but unfortunately, here we go again!
Thank you again to them, on behalf of us all!

Since the beginning we have also taken matters in hand and this leads to several arrests and seizures, but also by the confirmation that poaching has exploded over this year's retreat ...
In fact, I still found two elephant carcasses from the end of last year and it must remain a lot to discover!
The rains that started on 24 announced the imminent end of the season, and we do not expect many people left for the month of May I'll take the opportunity to inaugurate such materials, with a team re-motivated and the best hope for tomorrow

    Dear Paul,
After a long silence, I send you my most sincere thoughts and charged with "positive". I hope that the equipment meets your expectations and will bear the climate of North Cameroon! I agree that without the willingness of men to make things happen, the hardware is useless ... but it can motivate and indeed this is what I wish.
Do not forget to let me know if you are back in France and passage on Paris, even over the phone I have pleasure to exchange news (I have not forgotten and still hopes to again get involved in a mission remotivation troops!)
I embrace you all and all
    Fabienne
